Denise's Story
The adorable little girl in my picture is our granddaugher, Christina Marie. She is 2 1/2 and is the absolute light of our lives.
Rick and I celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary by going on a Caribbean Cruise this past April. We celebrated the fact that our marriage keeps on improving each year and that we get to spend the rest of our lives with our best friend. We attribute this blessing to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ - He is truly the source of our blessings.
We once enjoyed empty nesting but now have the return of both our sons. Our oldest is working and taking classes at the community college while trying to figure out just what his degree will ...Expand for more
be. And our youngest returned from his first year of college. He is double majoring in Law Enforcement and Spanish and aspires to be on the S.W.A.T. team in L.A. YIKES!
We moved our family out to the Chicagoland area 6 years ago and absolutely love it here. Of course I miss the mountains horribly but what are you going to do?
I enjoy staying home now after many years of working as Accounting Manager. I now get to make money doing my hobby which is interior decorating.
If there is one way to sum this up it would be: Life is good and filled with many challenges and hardships along the way. But when we keep our eyes on Jesus he works all things out for our good.
