Denise's Story
Life
Denise LeClair Cobb has had a long career in television, as an award winning television producer, on-air talent, manager, consultant and station owner. She began her career as an anchor and producer at a CBS station in West Virginia and from there went on to anchor news programs at ABC and NBC affiliates. Denise was one of the original news anchors at CNN and later joined News Travel Network as a syndicated correspondent and producer.
She now is a partner in a television content development company, Next Step Media Group, working to develop unscripted and reality programming.

ard member of the Naples Children and Education Foundation and has chaired the public relations committee for the Naples Winter Wine Festival. Denise is also on the Board of Regents of Ave Maria University, and is a board member of Career Transition for Dancers in New York City. In 2000, Denise was named one of Southwest Florida's Men & Women of the Year by Gulfshore Life magazine.
Along with her husband, Brian, she was also named the 2004 "Philanthropists of the Year" by the Community Foundation of Collier County.
In addition to their community work, the Cobb's own the ABC station, WTXL-TV in Tallahassee, and recently sold KADY-TV in Los Angeles/Santa Barbara, California.
