So Much to share. All I can say is God is Faithful. He supplies all my needs and more.
First the sad news. My mom passed away June 1, 2012. She was at my house and was actually getting a dry bath and massage by a hospice nurse. My good friend, Lisa was with me and we praying and she quietly went on to be with the Lord. Who wouldnt want to go getting a massage?
My beautiful granddaughter was born July 10, 2012., Kamea Jayden Schaefer. She was 7 lbs.4 oz. and 20.5 inches long. What a blessing!
Last, but not least... I got married to Gene Peters. We met again at our little class get togethers. Come to the Reunion 10-6-2012 at the Marriot in Pleasanton. Well on June 23 my youngest will be 22. I didn't mention before but I have three grandchildren. 2 boys and 1 Girl by my oldest son. I am looking to semi-retire at the end of July. YEAH! Ready to celebrate Life in my new season.
Update 1/3/11
Another year and I am still hanging in here. WE moved the business to a new location on Dollar St.in Hayward I feel confident that it will be a good decision.Though I am working too much, I am getting on with my life and enjoying renewing old friendships. It's hard to believe that my father has been gone almost a year and Mike almost two years. I am thankful my mom is still doing well. I hope that it is a wonderful new year!

duation. I ended up going back and forth a couple of times. I met Mike through mutual friends. We got married Dec. 21, 1974. He owned a tire business since 1967 in Hayward. I worked full time at a constructual steel company doing dual jobs. Receptionist and Accounts Payable. I thoroughly enjoyed working there... a lot of good memories. Anyway, we bought a home in Danville, and three years later we adopted a boy. I decided to quit working and stay home. During the next 9 years, I did go back to school for some classes and I worked part-time here and there. We traveled, started two new businesses, a ministry to jr high aged boys and girls. After nine years I ended up pregnant with my second son at 35. Life was good, we were healthy, loved each other and our family. we had good friends and a faith we held onto. In 2008 Mike was diagnosed with Myloedysplastic Syndrome. Which is a Blood cancer similar to leukemia. Our only chance for his survival was to find a marrow donor. After searching the internet, I found his brother. He agreed to be tested and he was almost a perfect match. The best gift we could expect. Mike had to do chemo and have a stem cell transplant. He lasted 20 months and passed on May 1, 2009.
It has been thirteen months and by the grace of God, I am finding joy and peace about my new life. I have continued to run the business It is amazing what you can learn about tires and mechanical stuff!! My oldest son and I run the business and I find myself enjoying it. I am also very involved with the ministry and hoping that even though Mike is not physically here, that it will continue with the same excitement that Mike brought to it.
