Denise's Story

Hi everyone, I have been busy raising a daughter and now I am helping with my grandson. I am just taking one day at a time and having fun and making the most of it. I would like to reconnect with old friends from school. Hope to hear from you as you read this. Till then, Take Care I always wanted to be a good mom when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were right. I spend some time with my grandson and play with my dogs or mess around on the computer. The wildest thing I guess was running off to get married to my high school sweetheart, but it didnt work out. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have a clear head , patients, and understanding to be able to deal with the day-to-day. I dont really have a hero. Well Max and I married then moved to Goldsboro, N.C. He was in the air force there. Then after he came back from korea we moved to Homestead Florida. I left ther and came home.Divorced and remarried and moved to Black Mountain and lived in that area for a while then moved back to marion and then moved to Willmington. Then moved back to marion again. Seems like I was ment to stay in marion town cause I keep coming back to it. So I am here to stay. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Sandy Moody, because we were really close in high school and her parents moved away and I lost contact with her.. Well I have 4 dogs that I dearly love. And I love to watch cop shows and the Dr shows. When I am not doing that I love to go to auctions. You never know what you might find at a auction. My biggest surprise is how a person can change from being normal to being a mental abuse person and living it. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the inside and add a ...Expand for more
different heating system and add on a master bathroom. My dream home would be a house like the waltons had with the new conviences of todays life.. I have learned that my kid knew everything untill she turned 30. Then she desided that I did know something. Its funny how smart I got the older she got. LOL Mrs Wagner because I would like to thank her for putting up with me. If I won $100 million, I'd give 1 million of it to my brother and sister, then spend the rest on buying a house, buy a car and do something with animals and save some. I would be in Marion, doing what I am doing because I am happy. Well I have been retail all my life and I also went to college and I am in the nursing field also. And most of the time I am doing both. I really dont know what happened to my first crush. My best friend would tell you I'm honest, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as thoughtful. I love my jeans and turtle neck tops, or swethers, I dont like to be cold. The weirdest job would be at a place where we had to proof picture and if there was a spot on any of them I had to paint the spot out. It was weird but I liked it. I share my home with my dauther and my grandson, which I find very crowed. I wouldnt have gotten married when I did and I would go on to college then start my family. My friend Lucy, she is a lifetime friend, it started by me baby sitting her 2 of 4 kids for her on base. And she also saved my life. I guess the surprise would be that I cut my hair short and have added a few extra pounds. My first job was at Roses, where I got paid min. wage to run the register. What I remember most about it is my friends and the management team. Mr. Bundy and Mrs. Fox . Just having good friends and good times.
