Denise's Story
As the song goes - "What a long, strange trip it's been!"
I mean, when I left good, old NHS, I thought I'd go to college and become a marine biologist...that was the plan.
So, what's that old saying that "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans"? Well, it sure hit me that way.
Not a lot of really great stuff in the beginning - two great kids though (I can't BELIEVE my older son is going to be 30). Finally got my degree in Syracuse...spent some time at Syracuse University...moved to Phoenix in 1997.
Lots of BORING office jobs - I was the Queen of the Call Center. Then, JP Morgan did me a favor and sold its Trustee ...Expand for more
division and was officially severed (translation: "let go". So, what's so good about that? Well, they gave me money to "find a new career". My choice? Dog training...yes, there are schools for that!
Fast forward - I was a trainer for a guide dog school - training guide dogs - German Shepherds to be exact. Sound like fun? Oh, it is - except for cleaning kennels, but "a dog's gotta poo what a dog's gotta poo" and we poor humans gotta pick it up.
Forward again - back to the call center - sometimes things don't work out, but I still train private clients!
