Denise's Story
Life
Hi - This is Denise Taylor-Moon from the class of 77. After graduation I attended the University of Michigan and have lived in Ann Arbor ever since. I met my husband in 1981 and we were married in 1983. I have 2 adult stepchildren, 4 grandchildren and my husband and I have an 21 year son who is a musician and works for Zingerman's Coffee Company. We lost my 100 year old mother-in-law in November 2011. As she had lived with us for the past 20 years, that was a big loss. My mother came to live with us in April 2005, was put on Hospice program in May and passed away in December 2005. I'm glad that she was at my home and her death was peaceful, but it is hard losing a parent.

ce 1985 and have worked for large research centers in areas such as diabetes, geriatrics, chronic pain and computational medicine. My current position is the project manager for the Nephrotic Syndrome Study Network and I am also the Center Administrator for the O'Brien Kidney Research Core Center. I work with wonderful people who are sincerely dedicated to helping those with kidney disease. Life is good, I have no complaints. We all have so much to be thankful for. I appreciate my good friends from high school and those with whom I stay in touch regularly. I had a great time at our Class of 77 35 year reunion. It was terrific seeing everyone there.
