Denise's Story
Life
I have been married to a wonderful man for 21 years. I have a Step-Daughter that is 28 years old and I have two wonderful grandsons that are 9 and 7 years old and I have a 20 year old daughter and all of these are the love of my life. I live in Tool, Texas which is at Cedar Creek Lake and we love it there. I have had a very blessed life and am grateful to God for everything he has done for me. God shows us his love each and everyday and gives us blessings sometimes that we don't even realize are from God. In October of 2002, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to go through chemo and all that, I knew God had a purpose for the cancer but wasn't sure what but kept believing that he had a plan for me. and asking questions and wanting to understand how God could allow this to happen to them or to their family members and through God, I have helped more people with cancer then I ever thought imaginable. Good things come out of everything and we must learn to give thanks for everything.
Workplace
I have been in the legal field since about 1984 or so. I started out at Blue Cross in the legal division and left there in 1989 and started working in Law Offices since then and worked at Thompson & Knight from September 1997 until May 14, 2007 where I started working for McGuire Craddock & Strother in the Dallas area. So far my experience here has been very rewarding and everyone has been extremely nice. I feel very blessed to have a job that I really do love and want to come to work at everyday.
