Dennis Carl:  

Life After graduating HS remained in the PA area, attended college locally and graduated from NCC in 1990 with an Associates in Mathematics/Physics. Bounced about several jobs until 1985 before landing an analyst position with Johnson & Johnson. Left in 92 for Texas and to complete a 4 year degree. In 1996, finished a BS in Computer Science with minors in Math, Physics, and Chemistry. Took a job with the state police as a wide area network programmer and enjoyed writing low level communications code. Remained in Texas till 98 when JNJ hired me back on (lets just say they make me an offer I could not refuse) but could not get that southern living out of my blood so in Jan 2000 moved back to Texas and rejoined the state police. See the pattern? Currently and for the distant future am focused on computer network engineering with specializations in remote access, HP openview, data security and wireless communications. The work is fun and of significant technical challenge. Currently living in Austin and loving the culture. Next big step is to get a dog whom shall...Expand for more
