Life Brief timeline since high schoool: 1993: Graduated U. S. Coast Guard Academy with degree in Civil Engineering, commissioned as an Ensign in the USCG. 1994: Promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade. 1996: Graduated from University of Illinois, Masters in Civil Engineering. 1997: Married to Nicole Annette Crain. Promoted to Lieutenant. 1999: Licensed as Professional Engineer. 2000: Rachel Kirstine Evans born. 2003: Christopher Andrew Evans born. Promoted to Lieutenant Commander. 2005: Living in Aguadilla, PR as the base engineer at Coast Guard Air Station Borinquen. 2007: Living in Louisville, Kentucky. Still in the Coast Guard, promoted to Commander. Military 1993: Coast Guard Cutter ESCAPE, homeported in Charleston, SC. Design and construction management of major west coast projects and energy efficiency programs. 2000: CG Headquarters, Washington DC. Assigned to the major systems acquisitions branch, working on the Ports and Waterways Safety System, a modernization of the vessel traffic control systems in major ports nationwide. 2004: Air Station Borinquen, Aguadilla, PR. Facility engineer, maintain and improve shore facilities and family housing complex. 2007: Sector Ohio Valley, Louisville KY. Logistics officer and Commanding Officer of Enlisted Personnel for CG in 10 states along Ohio, Tennessee, Allegheny, Mississippi Rivers.
