Dennis's Story
Life
It's unlikely too many have any interest in this, but here goes:
Graduated from the University of Virginia; traveled a fair amount abroad; speak fluent Spanish (taught it a while too); lived in Virginia from the summer of 1970 until the summer of 2005, moving to the Asheville, NC area then.
Have worked as a human resources director, mostly in the healthcare field, for most of my career. I now work in the mental health field (same type of work).
I'm twice divorced (from the former Jan Yancey, high school sweetheart and a second, short-lived marriage in the mid-90s...Expand for more

I am a passionate tree-hugging, animal-loving environmentalist, and hold basically a progressive political view. I have no tolerance at all for right-wingnut types. I am non-religious, bordering on the pagan.
I frequently write book reviews (dozens of which have been published), enjoy reading, writing, photography, travel, movies, music and dining out.
I own my own house nestled in the mountains of western North Carolina, along with lots of critters.
I am healthy, have a full-head of hair and have kept trim and youthful in appearance and mental outlook.
