Now, it's March 2006, I just turned 53 and in those many years since graduating from high school; I saw a lot and I did a lot, some good and some bad. But, I'm rewarded by seeing my daughter, Bethany, grow from a baby to a woman with a MBA in Library Science and living a very good life in Florida with her partner, David. Me? I'm looking for a job to utilize my certification. Life goes on and on, doesn't it? I'll close my bio with my favorite quote. "Life is a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death" My life has certainly been a banquet.
Update: Well, life can take may turns. I landed a job with a major hospice care company on March 5th of this year. I work in the Human Resources Dept. Unfortunately, I'm not using the Medical Information Management Certificate that I worked so hard for. But, I'm not complaining. The job is a perfect fit for me and I'm enjoying it every day.
*October 2008. Time for an update. My dream job ended on May 9th and I spent a long, hot summer searching for another job. The economic down turned was the reason I lost my job.
*December 8, 2008. I returned to work. I was rehired at Vitas Innovative Hospice. It is great to be back at my second home.
*August 17, 2009. On this date, my Live Partner and Soul Mate, Bill passed from this life to the eternal life; at the age of 63.
