Dennis's Story
Life
After I graduated HS I bummed around for about a year then joined the Army in May of 79. I went to Ft. Jackson, SC for Basic then went to Ft. Gordon, GA for Advanced Training. I then went to Korea for 2 years, in those 2 years I got married and was blessed with a daughter named Cari Lynn. We then went to White Sands, NM for a year, I then was assigned to the 1984 Presidential Camapign Communications Team and spent almost 3 years traveling around with the likes of Gary Hart, Jesse Jackson and John Glenn. assigned to Fort Huachuca, AZ in the winter of 88. We spent about 18 months there and also had our third child a son named Arron Joseff. We then were back with NATO this time in the Netherlands for 3 years. We came back to AZ in the summer of 93 and I retired from the Army in July 1995. I was retired for all of 10 days and I started work at Telephone & Data Systems in Madison. I just had my 12 year anniversary with the company. I do computer networking and systems administration for the Corporate Offices in Madison and Chicago. I've been married for 26 years and my two oldest have graduated UW Eau Claire and my youngest is attending UW Madison in the fall.
