r highway design. After developing his skills on a drawing board, in 1984 he began using a computer to design & was able to transfer his considerable skills to a digital product. He wasn't just an office guy though, he spent countless hours surveying construction sites, or manufacturing facilities; taking notes, taking photos, making measurements, reviewing documentation and meeting with site personnel. Dennis also worked at a nuclear power plant in Colorado in 1979 - 1980. He was a piping designer. He climbed on the piping on the steam side of the the plant. where with a sketch pad and a tape measure made sketches of existing pipe hangers for seismic analysis by the engineering staff. He says he still "glows" in the dark from radiation exposure, but that is quite suspect. The plant's safety protocol was quite strict, actually. Though Dennis began playing guitar when he was six years old, he didn't begin to take it seriously until about age 12. He still plays guitar nearly everyday. Classic rock and country music are his forte. He has not played professionally, but he has done a few performances at some small hotel bars and family functions. Dennis also played drums in the school band form 5th grade thru 8th grade, When he lost interest in drums he rediscovered his interest in the guitar. Since then, "playing guitar has almost become like therapy", he says, "and I imagine I'll study guitar to some degree until the day I die," Dennis is a widower and lives in Altamonte Springs, Florida. There are no grandchildren. Dennis's hobbies include yard work, home maintenance, collecting baseball cards, reading a book, internet surfing, playing guitar, cooking, and railroad modeling . Dennis's Dad passed away Christmas eve 1996. His sister Kathy died at 53 in September 2006 from cancer. His mother passed away three weeks after Kathy passed away. Dennis's younger brother Kevin still resides in Lakeland with his wife Susan.

Made cage to protect my pineapple from fluffy-tail rats, known more commonly as pesky squirrels. Won't get my fruit this year.
I used eight tent anchors to secure it to the ground and I used tie wires to fasten it all together.
You can barely see the pineapple to the left.
A pineapple cage, A Lime tree and your regular, everyday, ordinary, neighborhood dead squirrel.
All 4 legs in the air, and "X"s on the eyes. Should have stayed away from my fruit.
