Dennis's Story

Life Born and raised in Detroit. Attended Carstens Elementary School grades K-2 and St. Philip Neri grades 3-11. Graduated from Nativity HS in 1971. Attended Wayne State University for a half a year between '71 and '72. The only good thing that happened to me at Wayne was meeting Alicia (Immaculatta HS, class of '71), who would later become my wife. Enlisted in the Air Force in '72. Basic Training in Texas, Tech School in Denver. First "real" assignment in New Mexico. Married Alicia in '73. Stationed in Thailand '73-'74. Back to New Mexico, with a 2 month TDY in '75 to Ge...Expand for more
rmany for NATO war games. Discharged in '76. Attended Michigan Tech in the UP (now that's --SNOW-- country) '76 - '80. Upon graduation (BS in CS) took a job with Raytheon in Rhode Island. Changed jobs in '82 (Sperry-Univac). Moved to Maryland in '85 changed companies (Vitro). In '87 changed jobs again (Unisys, which is the result of the Burroughs and Sperry merger). Moved to Virginia in '88. Retired from Unisys in 2013. Alicia and I didn't have any children, unless you want to count our 2 crazy cats. Sadly, Alicia passed away n 2011. Now living in Ohio near my siblings.
