Dennis's Story
I really enjoyed my high school years (all 7 of them) but then again I have enjoyed all of the years so far. I am retiring from Kraft Fodds as a Retail Sales Manager at the start of 2011 and will turn that page after 30 years. I am certain thet the pending honey-do list will soon leverage me back into the work force to some degree shortly after retirement. I still enjoy motor vehicles with lots of power and plan to trade out my company car for something that will do 0-60mph within the length of the driveway.
At age 30 I married the girl next door (captive audience combined with selling skills) while I lived in Lenexa, KS. Diane is now retired from St. Johns where she was a cardiac rehab nurse. That skill set may come in handy soon. We have two sons, one who is a clone, and the other bears a striking similarity to our old UPS driver. I spent about 17 years working as a reserve in the field of law enforcement. The original theory here was "If you can't beat em, join em". I worked about 4 years with the Springfield, PD, a couple while I lived in Topeka, and a dozen as a reserve detective with Greene County. I hung up the cuffs when the boys were old enough to become more involved in their sports activities. In fact, I may return to this field after retirement but not out on the streets. I could just see myself yelling out to some heavily tatooted individual "Halt, Cheese Salesman"
I am looking forward to the future and what it will bring. I hope to hear from all that have taken the time to read this. Missouri State did a article on me a couple of years ago that will fill you in on more boring Scharpf stuff. missouristate.edu/mkt/48513.htm
