Dennis's Story
8 years in the Navy was the order of business after high school. Undergraduate degree from Dallas Baptist University and Master's Degree in Special Education.
As of 2014 I have been teaching and coaching for 21 years. I am currently teaching in a small, remote fishing village in Northwestern Alaska. No roads, no cars, only way in or out is by 4 seater airplane. Lots of great hunting and fishing. The village is Yup'ik Eskimo with such a rich heritage and culture.
I have been married for 26 years to Sheila and have a 23 year old son...Expand for more
. I have a 30 year old daughter and 31 year old son from Sheila'a first marriage. The best part is the 4 grandkids (3 girls 8, 7 and 1 and one boy 7) I spend summers in Texas and 10 months out of the year in Alaska.
My life is fantastic. Who could ask for more than a great job, loving family and a few close friends. God has truly blessed me.
