Dennis's Story
Don't know how that got there. That was from my wifes facebook page.
I grew up in Akron. I graduated from Ephrata High School in 1970. I went to Millersville University for a year and a half to run track but majored in partying and minored in ging to class. Didn't work out so well. In 1972 I enlisted in the Air Force and spent four years. Three of those years were in Dover, DE maintaining electronic test equipment for the C-5 aircraft. two local businesses that made electronic equipment for the military. Guess I just couldn't get away from it. Have worked for the same company now for 31 years and currently VP of operations.
I got married to my wife Melanie in 1979 and am still married to her. We have two children, a daughter and son. Also have two grandsons.
Several years I was voted into the Ephrata Wall of Fame along with my teamates from our state champion relay team. That was quite an honor since track was not very popuar back when I ran..
