Workplace Upon completing an electronic certificate program at RISE, I worked for a short period of time repairing office equipment for Gestetner Corp out of Prov, RI. Next took a field service job with HES Inc in Pawcatuck CT performing electrical installation and start-up service on Davis Standard extrusion equipment as well as Harris Graphics printing presses. Lots of travel, but not as glamorous as it sounds. Going from cust-to-cust, city-to-city gets old rather quickley. While on a service call in Worcester MA, I was offered a position with the Telegram & Gazette and initially wasn't interested. But after six more months of 80-90% travel I jumped ship and it was a great 10yr experience. Within six months I was promoted to Equipment Maintenance Manager with the responsibility for all electrical and mechanical installation, and subsequent maintenance, at a new production facility. After ten years I became restless and was offered a position with a start-up company in Walpole MA as a service manager. That was not such a good experience...I'll leave it at that!
