Life High school was no fun for me. Being teased daily and the clicky people being, well, clickish, just made me dislike school. I was always so uncomfortable and insecure; always waiting for the next sly remark or crack about how tall, skinny, etc I was. People can be so cruel. Even at the 10-year reunion the “girls” not women - were the same. A true disappointment! The men – much nicer and all grown up. My boyfriend of two years wanted to move home to Virginia so I went with him. Getting out of Agoura and away from “it-all" sounded so great. – Big mistake! I left him 6 months after arriving in Virginia. It became a life-threatening situation for me so I ran away and slept in my car for a week until I found a place to live. I lost everything except my car and my job. I was 2800 miles away from home and all alone! I worked for a National Association during the day and did modeling at night and on weekends.
