Denton's Story

I was very short in High School and very shy because of that. I did grow up in college and became much more out going. After High School, I went to San Fernando Valley State for a year and then transferred to the University of Arizona in Tucson where I got my BS and MBA. I joined a fraternity Delta Tau Delta and eventually became President. After getting my MBA, I went to work for a CPA firm in LA in the early 70's and eventually moved to Atlanta with Touche Ross & Company. I became very specialized in the Construction Industry. I wrote a book called Granting Credit to Contractors and eventually became the National Industry Director for t...Expand for more
he Construction Industry for Grant Thornton. I got married in 1971 to Jayne who I met in Europe in 1969 after graduating from college. Jayne and I have been married for 52 years.. She was originally from upper state New York and graduated from Penn State. We have two kids Denton Jr. and Abby. two grand girls Zoey and Darby.. I currently own my own CPA firm and don't plan to retire for several years. Jayne and I own a second home on the coast of Georgia and love to spend what ever time we can down there. Jayne and I went to the 1984 reunion but have not been back since. I would love to hear from some of my old friends and classmates.
