Derek's Story
Hi guys,
Life has been great and has rewarded me with a beautiful wife Kimberly and 2 kids, Alex (5), Ashley (2). We just started Soccer. Question: How do you get your kids to stop sitting on the grass and play?
We moved to SW Litteton in 06 and are having a great time raising the kiddos. I am home most of the time to be with my kids until they get bigger. I really want to take advantage of that hero status for as long as I can.
As a family we have had the luck of traveling to a few parts of the world. FYI, British Airways flies to London every fall for $99. We love Disney World too.
After HS I went to Metro for 5 years, and then lost interest really. I was lucky to have had my company ride the DOT.COM ...Expand for more
up.... and down (not so lucky). Now my company sells internet across the county and telephone service. I also own a chain of name brand video stores out east. If you need any free rentals.. head to Richmond VA, you will get hooked up!
I met my wife at a bar, but she went to Evergreen Jr so some of you might have known her as Kim Bacon. We met in 94 and were married in 99. Five years was not soon enough she reminds me, but she held in there and life is fantastic. I tried dogs to delay the kids a little longer, but that didn't work and now I don't know what I was thinking.
I am blessed that my parents and two sisters are alive and well.
So many fond memories. I hope to see all of you in the future.
