Derra's Story
Life
Where to begin...thought that I would forever be in San Diego. I moved to Colorado by myself - needed a change. I've been here since '95 now, took up snowboarding, married since Dec '98, we have a fantastic little girl. My husband grew up on the east coast - New York/Vermont. We recently sold our home in Colorado Springs then moved up to Avon, Colorado (near Vail/Beaver Creek), then off we moved to Hawai'i. Would have stayed there permanently, but reasons beyond our control brought us mainland side again. Now, back in Colorado (once again), have a great place, Chad got a job as a DOD Government Contractor overseeing the military base air pollutants.
I've heard from many classmates, would love to hear from more. Most people remember me as "Skya's little sis". Ran Varsity track and cross country, left hi...Expand for more
gh school early due to a horrible injury - came back and got signatures for my yearbook...while in a wheelchair (David Moran helped push me around - thanks Dav'!). Mingled w/a lot of people, but stayed below the radar... :)
Niyah has her 'mommies' genes...tall! She misses her cousins from Hawai'i terribly. Talks about her Auntie and cousins "daily!"

Branch/Operations Management in Vail Valley & Kailua, HI. Been in Mortgage Banking & Brokering for 15+ years. Gettting out of the 'biz'...
Enjoy the mortgage business, but wanting to break into a culinary career. Hopefully soon I will be able to go back to school to get certified/degree.
