Derrick's Story
Life
Hey there, I was born on April 21, 1984 in a small city known as Jayess. I have lived there my whole life. From Kindergarten-mid 5th grade I went to New Bethel Christian School; second, from mid 5th grade-6th grade I attended Topeka-Tilton Elementary; finally, going to and graduating from Tylertown High School. Following high school I joined the United States Marine Corps, leaving September 3rd, 2002 for boot camp at Parris Island, SC. became a Network Administrator. I am now stationed at Cherry Point, NC the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, just of the Carolina coast. I visit home 2-3 times a year, earning 30 days paid vacation every 12 months in the Marine Corps. I am very happy with my decision to join and I love my job in the military. As of now I have over 2 years under my belt and plan to re-enlist w/in the next year for another 4 year term.
My favorite animal is a HORSE.
