Life
Hello everyone. Unfortuantely my classmates.com membership has lapsed and I have not been able monitoring it.
After high school I joined the US Army as a Flight Dispatcher. I spent 9 and a half years in the military and was in during the first gulf war. During my military career I lived in South Korea twice, spent time in Missouri, Fort Campbell, KY (Home of the 101st Airborne Division) and finally ended my career in Fort Hood, Texas. During my time in the Army, I was able to obtain two degrees (Associates in Legal Assisting and a Bachelors in Aviation Management).
I also met my husband in the military (he was a pilot) and we got out of the service and got married. We are now living in a suburb of Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota. After my military career, I started out as a legal assistant and then an opportunity came about and I started working for a vendor of Northwest Airlines. I worked as their Manager of Pilot Training and enjoyed it until 9-11. After 9-11, I got laid off. Now, I am working in City Government as an Assistant City Administrator with the City of Mounds View, Minnesota. I manage all city elections, manage all business licenses, and serve as a project manager on a number of city projects. My husband works at Honeywell as a Project Manager in their comodities division.
My husband and I have no children but have a dog named Twister. We do a lot of traveling and go to a lot of hockey games and concerts. My husband and I recently took up guitar.
Hopefully we will have a 20 year reunion next year. It would be great to see all of you!
