July 28, 2014. Back on Classmates. I got a promotion to training with TSA and we moved to WA. Got a few years before retirement, though I love my job so I may just keep working. Still hoping to put together a reunion sometime in 2016. Any suggestions for date, place and activities would be gratefully accepted. Go a new grandbaby, a boy, this time. Life is good. Be in touch!
Updating the site. I'm still here and enjoying life! This month is my 60th birthday and I'm planning to do 3 things I've never done before. Those are getting hard to come by, since I've had a full, adventurous life. But, no worries, I'll think of something and send them on for all to enjoy. BTW, I have decided to at least have my hair cut, again. It's been 10 years and it is way overdue! Will attach a new picture as soon as I take one. God bless all! March, 2013
Well, the 40-year party has come and gone! What a great time getting together, again! Wish you were all there, but we're planning another one in year 2016. Mark your calendars! ewer, better job back in my favorite home, Boise, ID. This is where the grandkids are, so it was a no-brainer when I was offered a position with TSA at Boise airport. Lovin' it, so far.
Not able to get information from the girls back in CA regarding a reunion. If anyone knows anything, please let me know. Spoke with Shelley O'Kins-Tombari and we want to get together, maybe sometime in October, even if only for a visit. Can't let the 40th pass uncelebrated! Any and all ideas re: time, place, etc., gratefully accepted. Be in touch.
Well, here's a new life update! I've got a great new job in Seattle, so as of the 6th of December, 2010, that's where we are. So far, so good!
Wow, 38 years in a nutshell? Well, I moved to CO after graduation; met a guy and moved to NJ; got married (not to the guy) at 19; he was in the Army, so spent 3 yrs. in Germany; had my first son in CT in 1977; ended marriage in 1980; moved from CT to FL in 1983; met another guy and had son number 2 in 1984; didn't work out, but I was a single mom until meeting husband number 2 in 1990; moved with him to ID; ended six years later; moved alone to Boise and worked for Micron Tech for 10 yrs; met my best husband in 2003 and we're traveling all over and living happily in NV for now.
I've lived and/or traveled to 40 states and abroad; did just about every job that's legal and moral (edged that line a couple times); have 4 unbelievable granddaughters; have strong faith and am really happy.
Been back to SLV a couple times and it still smells the same, like the redwoods. I do miss the redwoods, but I like the thought of the future, so no desire to go back.
I've been wondering what everyone has done and where they are for 38 years, so I'm here and hoping maybe for a 40-year reunion.
