Desiree's Story
Life
Yup.."still crazy after all these years." Every now and then we do think about those we knew in high school by way of a passing thought or a song that takes us back to the fun, party days. I still see a few people around the town..but not too many, often wondering where the hell everybody went. Hope everyone elses lives are filled with as much joy and happiness that mine has. Peace!- desiree
Oh..what am i doing now....Just fun stuff!!! I will be returning to one of my passions...the theater...after about 15 years..to do the stage presentation of "Steel Magnolias". My daughter and her husband will be directing...should be interesting.
Looking forward to gardening again, another passion. We have a wildlife sanctuary donated to the National Wildlife Federation and that will be another project. i enter crafts, veggies, herbs, and baked goods in the Woodstock Fair (3 years in a row peanut butter fudge blue ribbon..am i proud??....I toot my OWN horn!!hahhahaha!
I am into geocaching which is hiking with a purpose ..sort of like orienteering using a gps system to locate hidden caches (check it out at geocaching.com. My cache is called Stonehenge located at Ross' cliffs (remember the parties there?????) So really..my life is full. I try to make it so after experiencing a serious car accident 5 years ago while i was working as a visiting nurse. Went through hell and licked the boots of death but i am back with a vengeance for Carpe' Diem!!!!!!!! Living my life ...grabbing every precious minute i am given.

oh god...what can I say...John Desautels was my one and only at that time. I think the teacher who inspired me the most was Mr. Cronin. He was a hard ass but he got the most out of you. He pushed you to the far expansions you did not even realize you could reach. God bless him!!
I think the funniest moment i ever had was during math class with mr. french one day. Bruce Barbeau and Bruce LeClaire were fooling around with elastics, shooting them at the board and wherever the hell they wanted. I got hold of one of the elastics and they were trying to get me to snap one off. Off course, being the good little girl that i was (hahahahaha) i couldn't POSSIBLY take part in this, but it was cool just fooling around the guys, so ...while i was playing with the elastic it went off and of course at that time, mr. french walked through the door and it hit him in the head. For those who remember mr. french..they will know what i mean when i say ..his face turned really red and he went off on a tangent about how this was not going to be tolerated and the person responsible had better step forward. Of course no one did. Then at the end of class, my conscience got the best of me and i confessed. i got the lecture of how he would NEVER have suspected ME and how he couldn't believe it was ME. Oh well.......he didn't know me very well!!
The crazies memories were that of being with my friends and doing things that...oh my god....i still can't believe we got away with. They were great times. I always can smile about them.
