Desiree's Story

Life I have two sons, Brandon & Jordan. Brandon was born in Mesquite, TX & Jordan was born in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. They are both my pride and joy! We have a small zoo consisting of an Amazon Parrot, a Goffin's Cockatoo, a Rat Terrier and one fish. My husband was in the Navy from 1995 - 2000 and is Mapping Technician for the County. :o) We've been married since December 2005. College I finally decided to go back to school in the summer of 2003 while I was pregnant with my second son... and finally finishing my Associate's Degree and will be walking across the stage in May 2007. (I would have been doing so this December, but I forgot to turn in my graduation packet.) I became a member of Phi Theta Kappa on 27 Feb 05 which is the International Honor Society for Junior Colleges. I held a 3.9 GPA (not quite sure how I kept that up!) ng a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA; however, I take my courses online since I am still on Active Duty. I am 8 classes away from earning my BS!! Yeah... almost there! Military I am currently mobilized at Fort Stewart, GA with the US Army Reserve (AD). I have been up here since June 2005. I was promoted to Staff Sergeant as of 15 August 2006. :o) I also re-enlisted on 27 Oct 06 for another 6 years... until 2013. I have been in the service since Jan 1999. Medically Unfortunately I have had some major medical issues over the past couple of years. I have had 7 surgeries since my husband and I have been married. Four of them have been on my feet (2 each). It's possible that I may be headed for back surgery soon. I go for a discogram in May '09. I've had a few really rough years. Please keep me in your prayers.
