Desiree's Story
I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a crummy idea. As it turns out, they were right:). LOL
This was a story starter, now I know how my students feel when I require them to write from a story prompt. Honestly, as a young girl I did want to be a teacher; Teri Stevens, Tasha and I would play school a lot. But my Da...Expand for more
d wanted me to be a doctor, although he wasn't pushy...just very suggestive:)
I love teaching, it is tiring and we are soo grateful for breaks (although I teach summer school, so the breaks end up being more like that of a govt. worker rather than a typical educator), but planning for and working with the kiddos is soo rewarding and thankfully, I sleep well:)
