Life
I am a stay home mom, with two children. I have been married for 6 years, but before that I graduated from F.I.T majoring in Buying & Merchandising. I got my first buying job with Billy Martin's Western Wear store on Madison Avenue. I worked there for two years and working there is when I got the bug to do design. Working at Billy Martin's was great, I got to meet Bruce Springstein, Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman to name a few, but I just needed a change. well as his fit model. Working there is where I met my husband. I left and got a job working for Liz Clairborne for 4 years and then got a great opportunity to work for Federated Merchandising Design Group to start there textile dept. I was with them for 3 years and during that time was working full-time and raising my daughter Maya. I was pregnant with my son Ben when I decided to leave. I've been a stay home mom for about 3 years now and have got to really love it.
