Well, I am back in Gallup after almost 40 (did I say 40, 4-0?) years. I lived in Kansas City, MO where I studied to become an Accredited Medical Record Technician and met my first husband. We moved to Reno, NV after he got out of the Army, then moved to California after he finished college in Reno. We divorced after 8 years. I was working at Stanford Medical Center for the Associate Professor of the Ear, Nose and Throat Department. He was very into doing studies in various areas, which made it more interesting. So we would apply for government grants (hated that part) and he would always get the money. He was a great boss! I then married for the 2nd time, then we welcomed a daughter. When he finished his residency, we had to move back to Canada to satisfy Visa requirements. When that was done (2 years later), we moved to Gallup. By then we had a son who was born in Canada. We left Gallup after 3 years and moved to California. We divorced in 1998. My daughter is 32, single and works as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She is also a nurse, but decided she preferred working as a Dental Hygienist. My son is 30. He is married and has 3 children, a girl 4 years old and twins, boy and girl who are 2-1/2 years old.
