I am a reverend of Universal Ministries and of American Marriage Ministries. My home church is Wells of Living Waters Ministries in Stockton, California where I serve as an Usher. I presently hold the position of Jr. Chaplain with the American Legion, Karl Ross Post Number 16, in Stockton, California. From 1997 to present I have been employed as the Nursery Manager and Gardener with Stebbins of Stockton, a General Contractor. I have an extensive educational background with universal travel, military and college courses, aiding me in being able to best serve my community, as the owner and Senior Director of De Interprise Ministries, a nonprofit Spiritual social welfare organization. The angle of this organization is to assist people with mental, emotional and spiritual care; our organizational model is “We the People are the People”. It is my fondest desire for my future to change De Interprise Ministries into a ministry of stature. De Interprise Ministries is a multi-organization conglomerate. The business mission is to aid challenged individuals with the skills and guidance necessary to cope with their ever changing environment. Veterans are placed in the highest of stature. After three failed marriages, loss of many jobs and witnessing the slander and Vulgarity of what people called being a Civilian. In order to fit in Got wasted on Drugs and Alcohol for about nine years Homeless and after a small stent locked away, upon release in 1997 was employed by the only people in Stockton California who would give me a Job (Stebbins of Stockton and Women’s Realty). In 2001 when My One and only Son was reported diseased something snapped in the Heart. Then I, Dewitt still homeless start looking to things of my youth to give me answers. It was a Spiritual Journey something or someone was talking to me, so I began checking Churches for the answers. In 2004 I stopped at the Wells of Living Waters Ministries’. At the Wells of Living Waters Ministries’ Jesus is the Main Attraction I met Sis. Betty Wilson, we spent time learning things together. She told me I had a destiny and I need to walk away from the Past and seek His Forgiveness plus Forgive Myself then come to the front of the Alter. My body was pretty broken-down; yet, I felt a warm Spirit with her so I did what she said. The next week after we talked, I went to the Front and asked Jesus to Have His Way with Me I Surrender and I Claim Jesus as My Lord. Right away and Awesome Glow Over took ME and My Body Was Healed I started walking again (stopped smoking cigarettes, drinking alcohol and doing drugs all at once), became an Usher, then while being an Usher with the Wells of Living Waters, In 2006 Joined the American Legion and in 2008 I received an appointment to Chaplaincy in The American Legion, I told no one I was a Chaplain with the American Legion for two years, and in 2010 I told only Sis. Wilson I was a Chaplain she asked why I’m Quiet and my response Jesus is in Charge. Summer 2010 I started College in Computer Training OCS Veterans School.
