Diana's Story
Life
I was born in Detroit in 1953. I was an Army brat, and we went oversees to Germany for a couple years, I was about 4 when we left. When we came back, I lived down the street (Ogden St) from the O.W. Holmes school. Best as I recall, I went there for 2nd and 3rd grade. I only remember a few things. I remember taking violin less...Expand for more
ons in an upstairs room, I remember a boy I think we call "Bunny", and I remember the awful smell from behind the school, sulfur I think. I also remember a candy store near the school. When my father retired, we moved to Indiana, where I have lived ever since. I have been married for 30 years, have 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren.
