Diana's Story
Life
Hi everyone!! You're all probably wondering what happened to that weird Asian girl you used to go to public school with... well here I am!! I miss all of you!! I remember every single one of you... first and last names!!
After McCurdy, I went to South Huron for 2 years (BOOOOO!) and then my family and I moved to London when I was in Grade 11. I'm STILL LOVING IT HERE!! It's not quite Toronto, and it's not quite Centrailia, but it's cool!! I then went to Montcalm for 1.5 years and finished my last semester at Beal (taking design classes). Did you know that you can take art all day for 4 years and STILL graduate?!?! (If only I knew sooner!!)
As I went into Fanshawe college (for Fashion Design) I did some modelling.. (and yes I continued to grow).. I'm now standing at 5' 8 1/2" and signed up with a modelling/acting agency in TO... well that all changed when 3rd year of college rolled around... with all the stress and deadlines I had to meet... did you know that I pulled off 48 hours of NO SLEEP??! Me and some friends actually brought our sleeping bags and napped in the studio!
After I graduated...
I HAD A BABY BOY!! Hahahah I guess you didn't expect that anytime soon!! As of right now, he's 3 months and 5 days old (so he's still pretty new). He's my little sweet man and I tell him I love him everyday!! My fiancee and I are expecting to get married whenever we're finacially and emotionally ready (not yet!!) We go back and forth between grandparents to SHARE the new bundle of joy...Expand for more
. However, Toronto is definately not the place for little Colby.. especially not downtown!! So I'm working on staying in London for his little sake (and for the little ones to follow!!)
College
FUN-SHAWE COLLEGE... OH HOW I MISS THEE!! College was the best experience in my life!! (well, so far!) The fashion design program there did me some good... but at the same time, left me disappointed :( I'm just glad to hear that when the OLD coordinator retired, the new one made some SERIOUS changes to the program.. the old program was absolute ASS!!
Anypoo... I loved the fact that some of my classes started at 8am, and I was still at home, catching my Zzzz's!! hahaha What the hell was that all about!? That's the difference between college and university.. u don't get to pick how early, nor how late ur classes are! By the way, the late classes were at 7pm, and I didn't quite make it to all of those either!! hahahaha
Last year was the best!! The good old days in the good old studio!! You know late at night when all the lights are turned off, the dressforms/judys come out and the DANCE.... HEADLESS!! HAHAHA Those are the things that freak me out the most when I'm there late all by myself!! I miss seeing everyone (except for a few stupid, yes, i said STUPID people) everyday... My last semester was A KILLER!! Late night projects.. days on end without any sleep... it was sooo fun!! (I didn't think so at the time). But when you love what you do, you'll do anything to continue doing it!!
