Life
I was one of those scatter brains that decided to take some time off before going to College to figure out what I wanted to do when I grew up. Well here I am 9 years from retirement and I still have not figured it out. I have worked at Burns & McDonnell since 1979. Most of that time as the Photocopy Section Supervisor in the Reprographic Department. I married Richard (Rick) Weber (Raytown South Class of 1972) in 1981. We had almost 24 years together at his death from cancer in June 2005. I have 2 Children, Jason born 1985 Kelsey born 1989. I have lived at the same address for 24 years. y to empty nest as my son, Jason married his long time girlfriend in March. My daughter, Kelsey is still at home, but I'm sure the days are numbered. She's alot like her mother, not fond of following other peoples rules. Would love to hear from school classmates.
Update: Retired from Burns & McDonnell at 56 after 36+ years of service. Been loving retirement. Got my first grand baby in 2016. So far he’s my only and Grandma is loving any time I get to spend with my little man. In 2017 I sold my home of 32 years and purchased a home with Fred Armantrout. We were married November of 2020. Yep, got married during Covid. Had a small ceremony in our living room. He retired this year and we love to travel.
