Diana's Story

Married Alan Phillips in 1970, had two great children together: Athena and Leon. Divorced in 1979. Single mother for about 12 years. Married Dane Squillace in 1991. We've been married since. Not always a walk in the park, but we're happy now, and that's what matters. Went to college and earned bachelor's and master's degrees: BA in Liberal Studies/English, MA Education/Instructional Technology....Expand for more
Presently working on a PhD in Education. I teach at two colleges: College of the Desert and Copper Mountain College. Disciplines: English, journalism, and analytical reading. Lab liaison/instructor for the Eastern Valley Academic Skills Center in Indio. I like to paint and write, but don't have much time for either. I worked as a journalist for about ten years before going back to school.
