Diana's Story

Well hello, to all of you, again. It's been a long time, hasn't it? I am living in Dayton, OH, since 3/19/o3, with my Fiance', Richard A. Davis, and life has been good. We own a home, and the Good Lord, has Blessed me. My daughter Gina, 23, still lives in S.I.N.Y. Last June she graduated from CSI, with TWO Bachelors Degrees. 1- Advertising, 1 Marketing Management. As always, she is my Pride & Joy! She was also, Vice President, her Jr. Yr., and President, Sr. Yr., for the entire Marketing Division, plus working part-time, and Warner Bros. in the city. Now, she's living alone in a small apt. in Great Kills, since breading with her Fiance' after four years. But, meeting men is not her problem, she is still gorgeous, but even more, now! She now works full-time, at a Marketing Research Co. in the city. Leaving her, was the hardest thing I've ever done, and I miss her so! We did go to S.I. for her college graduation, where I got to see my son, John, now 31, who is also living in S.I., in a group home for the DMD. My step-daughter Cheryl, 32, is still living in Conroe, TX, with her husband. She is the owner of a business that puts up telephone polls, in a 100 mile radious of their home, where her husband works, and she is able to not have to go in, unless for an emergency. They are in the process of having a house built, not far from where they are now, on four acres of land, which is good, since she, like me, loves animals, and has several, including 4 Great Danes that she breeds. When Gina graduated from Susan Wagner, she had bought her a 2001 Lexis. You may spot it driving around? It's black, with red interior, the only of it's kind in tiny S.I., so it's not hard to spot. And, you will see a BEAUTIFUL young lady, behind the wheel. Cheryl was also there at the graduation, and it was so wonderful to be with my 3 children. My Lord, has blessed me with kids to be proud of! I couldn't ask for more! At the bottom of this letter, I will enclose one of my Published Poems, that I wrote for Gina, titled, "You've Finally Reached The Top." about her success, and if there's room, also the one called, "The Lexis From Texas", for H.S. graduation. Although, I didn't graduate with you guys, I did earn my GED, back then, and I have since graduated from, "The Ohio Instatute Of Photography And Technology", and I am a freelance Photographer, and Videographer, which I developed at the, "International College Of Broadcasting." I had planned on becomming a Professional Camera-man/person, until I was diagnosed with sever Rheumatoid Arthritis in every joint. The pain made it impossible to do. My mother is living in Tucson, AZ, with my one, of two sisters there. But, thats ok! I am more then Blessed! In my spare time, I am a Youth Group Leader, at my church, "Healing Heart Chruch Of God", and I have 32 youth so far. Anyway, enough about me! Please feel free to send me a message, and tell me how you'll are doin? LOL See, I have been picking up some of the Ohio drawl, they use here. Oh yea, if your wondering how I met a Native Daytonian, it was right here, on the Internet, where else? Whenever people ask me how it works out this way, I always tell them, 'You must be totally honest about yourselves! Don't claim to be someone your not! That's the only way it can work!' Now, be well, and God Bless you, Diana, from Dayton. "You've Finally Reached The Top" By Diana M. Rizzuto Finally,...after so many years, through so much heartache, & bitter tears, the day has come for you to go, the seeds of life, for you to sew. You've been going to school, since you were three, as cute as a button, and smart as can be! Your father, and I were always sure, you'd excel in everything you did. ou set out for, ever since you were just a kid. I just couldn't stress enough to you, to succeed in life, takes education. Great report cards, to us, were nothing new, your grades, were always a sensation. You always made the Honor Roll, and, your teachers were always astounded! You gave everything your heart, and soul, and in knowledge, and wisdom, abounded! I used to brag to everyone, "She's my little genius in the making." And everyone that watched you, could see, I wasn't faking! A genius is more then science, and math, so many other ways, they exist. God set you on that Blessed path, and gave you the strength to persist. You've always had such style, and grace, true beauty, inside, and out. And everyone that has seen your face, can see that, without a doubt! You really stand out, oh Dear, how you shine, whenever you come through the door! You catch every eye, yes even mine, all the time, you just steal the floor! You have such a great personality, charisma, and laughter, and smiles, great conversations, is such a reality, you can keep someone's interest for miles. Your wisdom extends far beyond your years, wise council, and advice, you can give. You sympathize , when someone's in tears, and like Jesus, you easily forgive. Your patience is your greatest virtue, you stay strong even when life gets rough. Always ready to face what life throws you, I thank God that He made you so tough! You are honest, and down-to-earth, a phoney, you never will be, from that wonderful moment of birth, you embraced life so joyfully. And now, you as graduate from college, riches, and success, you can foresee, you have the ability, and knowledge, to go forth, and be all you can be! Cheryl, Johnny, and I are so proud, as you walk up to receive your degrees, you'll hear our shouts above the crowd, as it carries along the breeze. And then, we'll all hug you with such joy, and elation, snapping pictures that never seen to stop, for this is defiantly time for a Celebration, after all, Baby, you've finally reached the top! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "The Lexis from Texas" There is a pretty young lady, who is lovely and petite, Not only is she beautiful, But, she's also very sweet. She has a big sister also, who lives in Conroe, Texas. Her business is doing so very well, that she bought Gina a Lexis! Gina may be only frve foot two, and one hundred pounds, soaking wet, but, she can stand up for herslef, she can be tough when her mind is set. So, when you see that Lexis from Texas, that's quickly driving by, you'd better watch your step, boy, now, let me tell you why. She's smart and has alot of spunk, and she can be real cunning, though you may give her a hard time, don't expect to see her running. She may be small, but after all, she takes after her father. So, if you think you want to fight with her, my friend, don't even bother! Now, don't get me wrong, it's not as you think, she really is a doll! She's the kind of person you'd want on your side, when your backs up against the wall. When she's your friend, she's a friend for life, she'll stick close by your side, for when you get to know her well, you'll find a heart that's one mile wide. If your lucky enough to make her aqaintence, don't be phoney, she'll see tight through. just be yourself and get to know her, trust me, you'll be glad you do! So, if you see that Lexis from Texas, driving down your street, tell yourself in all honesty, there goes someone I'd like to meet! And, the man that gets to marry her, will thank his lucky stars, for he'll find out, I know he will, that she's much more fun then cars! by Diana M. Rizzuto
