Life
It probably does not surprise most who knew me - I taught dance (about 250-300 students)for 20+ years and have been active in the theater/entertainment world. What would surprise those who knew me well is that I gave up my dance school a number of years ago and got involved in aquatics! Yes, me who spent the first 50 years of my life "terrified" of the water!!! I swim a mile and a half, and teach over 30 aquatic aerobic or water therapy classes a week. I have my aquatic groupies and my family is amazed that I spend most of my waking hours in the water and in a swimsuit. If someone would have told me that I'd be doing what I am doing today I would have laughed at them, but I absolutely love it!
I am still only 4'10" tall, but married a man 6'4". ALWAYS LIKED LONG LEGS!!! I got my wish of breeding long legs anyway (sort of). My daughter is 5'7" and very leggy...Expand for more
like her dad. My son, who is adopted isn't 6 foot, but looks tall and at least is not a shrimp like me! All in all, the only one in our family who is under 5' is still me! LOL
I live within 100 miles of RP - remember how they told us in high school history class that most of us would? I always assumed I would not be one of those who did...SURPRISE!

Just an addition: December of 2008 I lost my beloved husband of 33 years to melanoma cancer. Has been a tough adjustment, but starting to move forward with my life again. Also, have 2 adorable, wonderful grandkids which, along with my 2 wonderful young adult children, make life worthwhile!
My saga continues. Have found myself living my "new reality" as one friend referred to widowhood. Dating again and finding the 2nd time around a little strange.
