Diana's Story
Life
I started working for the State of California in 1969, one month after I graduated from Del Campo (mid-term). I worked almost 29 years for the State, 15 years as a supervisor, and retired in 1999. In 1975, I took two years off from State service, moved to Oregon, lived in New York for four months, back to California in 1977, and the security of State service. I worked for the Department of Rehabilitation, Department of Corrections (records offices) at Folsom State Prison and Chino Prison, Department of Finance, Public Employment Relations Board, and moved to the Legis...Expand for more
lative Counsel Bureau in 1981, where I stayed until I retired. I waited for the right guy to come along, and got married in 1987. Jerry has two grown kids (from a previous marriage), and three small grandchildren. We had no children, and have two dogs we treat as our kids. I've lived the last 25 years off of Van Maren, not far from Del Campo. We finally moved to Elk Grove two years ago. I've stayed in contact with three friends from high school--Sharon Henry (Buchanan), Nancy Archer (Trahan), and Pam Adamczak (Carter). I'm interested in finding out about others in our class.
