Workplace I consider my career a blessing in the very truest sense... I am the Director of Occupational Therapy for Louisiana Home Care in Shreveport, La. My day consists of working "one on one" with anyone who is unable to carryout a daily activity such a dressing, bathing, cooking, simple housekeepng, etc., also deal with cognitive issues with dementia, alzheimer's and brain injury pt's, all psyche diagnoses. I also treat any orthopaedic deficits "from the waist up" such as stroke, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, Parkinson's, any shoulder problem such as frozen shoulder, rotator cuff tears, fractured wrists, elbows and humerus and forearm...neck pain, including my own! My specialty area is the neck, shoulder and hands.
