AFTER I GRADUATED I WENT TO WORK AT STONYBROOK UNIVERSITY AS AN ASSISTANT COORDINATER FOR THE TRAFFIC DEPT. IN 1970 I MARRIED WILLIAM M. GARRANT AND HAD OUR DAUGHTER CHRISTA IN 1971. I WAS A STAY HOME MOM TILL MY DAUGHTER WENT TO COLLEGE TO BECOME AN ART TEACHER. I WENT TO WORK AS A PESONNEL COORDINATOR FOR A HOME CARE CO. THEN I LEFT AND WENT TO WORK AS A HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR IN 1995. AT 50 I RET...Expand for more
IRED. BILL RETIRED AT AGE 55 FROM VERIZON WHERE HE WAS A SPLICING TECHNICION FOR 34 YEARS. WE WERE GOING TO TRAVEL BUT AS IT HAPPENED HE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH ALZHEIMER'S AT AGE 56. NOW I STAY HOME WITH HIM AS HIS CAREGIVER. MY DAUGHTER MARRIED AND WE HAVE 2 GRANDCHILDREN BOYS AGES 4 AND 1 1/2 PETER AND MARCUS WHICH ARE THE LOVE OF OUR LIVES. BILL PASSED AWAY MAY 13,2012 . I NOW LIVE IN JENSEN BEACH FL.
