Diane's Story

Life This is my husband and I, married 4-16-97. Took me a lifetime to find the right one. This was taken on our honeymoon cruise to Cozumel, Mexico, where we had a wonderful time. Current picture is of Ray and me on our cruise. We are currently in Southaven, MS. I now have a position of Supervisor in Slots at Gold Strike Casino and hubby is now retired. I have one son, and one beautiful granddaughter who is now almost 8 yrs.old, living in Memphis. Her name is Kaitlyn Breanna Evans and her Dad's name is Lowell G. Evans, III. I hope to talk to my old classmates soon. Diane Ballew Bowley The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Barbara Mynatt, because we were best friends and shared so much together, but became separated after my first marriage.. If I won $100 million, I'd give most of it to the Catholic Charities, then spend the rest on my , family and my husband's family and our grandchildren and great-grand children.. My best friend would tell you I'm a true friend and fun loving , but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as crazy, but some would say I have a big heart.. I have lots of old trophies from Soccer, Basketball, Tennis, and most of them were best Coach, something I did in my late 20's to my early 40's. Still love the Sports, but unable to run like the wind anymore. Three Heart-Catherizations keep me from sprinting anymore. All I can do is walk very fast. I have three Salesman of the Year Awards I ...Expand for more
accomplished while selling Women's shoes in late 80's and early 90's, and have received numerous achievements as a Slot Attendant for several Casinos that I have been employed. I wish I could go back to my Art, and draw again, like I did when I was in High School, a passion, I've always wanted to do, and just can't achieve anymore. The other person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Gary Newsom, because he was once was the love of my life and another very best friend. I left him to soon, only to realize what I had lost. Still I've heard he's very happy and has a large family, but still would love to hear from him and know that God has been kind to him over the years and that he is truly blessed. I left him because he joined the service, and he had a he had been accepted at college with a scholarship in Math. He was brillant, and I thought he gave up a great career, only to find out he got his degree in the Service and actually did what he wanted to do and that was to go into Space Aeronautics. I was a fool, because I thought he gave up his dream. The other reason is that my mother was sick and I was the only one left at home to take care of her. I had pushed marriage for so long, and then when he asked I cried and said I couldn't just then, but I would wait on him. I was so stupid to believe it myself. I dread my error in not believing in him enough. He will always be in my heart. It took me a lifetime to find someone who loves me as much as he did..
