Diane's Story
Life
My life: For 22 years I lived in Grand Junction Co. After my divorce it just seemed easier to stay there close to my girls. But at the end of 2001 I had the chance to move out of state. I lived in PA for 15 months. What a treat it was living on the east coast! The image of the ocean is something that will never leave ya. But their idea of mountains is funny. There is nothing that will take the place of the Rocky Mountains. I moved back to Denver in March of 2003. WOW is it good to be back home and near family again.
My Kids: The two oldest daughters have each given to me grandchildren. The oldest one have three sons...which I was able to witness their births..and the second daughter has a daughter of her own and a son from her first marriage, from her second marriage she had twin sons born 15 weeks early Hayen lived 8 days (thinking of you often) Christopher will be two years old in August and so far from her thrid marriage she is going to have a girl in Nov. My Job: I have worked for the same company for almost nine years. Started out in Grand Junction with that store opening and moved to PA after that for 15 months and when I moved back to Denver was in the Westminster store for four years, and now I will be at my second store opening at the new Morrison location this June. The whole time I have been with this company I have worked three different positions...I started out spending 8 hours a day taking calls that come into my business. I guess I was ment to talk on the phone!!! I help customers with questions that they might have about products that we carry, did this for seven years, then I moved to scheduling for the store. A M-F job (who would not love that), but try writing work schedule for 120 people and it can get hairy, did that for a year, now at this new store I will be doing expediting, something that I am really looking forward to, and still a M-F job!!!
