Diane's Story
Life
Hello Everyone,
Since I have had the same bio for the past few years I decided that an update was in order. Life is still wonderful in Colorado though we have suffered some losses. My parents and three of my grandparents died from tobacco related illnesses and I have been diagnosed with Meniere's disease. On a happier note, my brother, Dr. Gentry, is a college professor in Tulsa and Mandie graduated from college and is a track coach in Louisiana. Steve and I refuse to give up on public education and Chase started Middle School this year. I hope all is well with anyone who reads this. I would love to hear how life has been for those of you I have not reconnected with.
Take care,
Cheyanne (AKA, Dee Dee)
Hi again,
Lots of changes since my last update. Mandie is now a Head Womens track coach, Jeff has a new baby girl and Chase is a freshman in high school. I am still teaching Social Studies but am finally giving up on my 90 mile commute and applying at districts closer to home. Steve is also looking at other districts and is unsure how long he will remain in teaching.

May 2009. My last semester will be spent teaching in Mexico and then, with any luck I will spend the next year in Bulgaria teaching in an English school. Noting is final but I can always dream.
Hope all is well with everyone, take care.

Well it is June of 2009 and I am teaching in a new district for the first time in ten years. It was a bit scary at first but turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made.
In the past year I have made a Youth Hostel trip to Boston, visited family in Alabama, Missouri and Oklahoma and done quite a bit of landscaping on my home.
Events beyond my control kept me from Hellgate's 30th reunion but I am hoping a 35th is in the works.
Life is full of blessings, my kids are happy, healthy and reaching for their dreams.
My best to whom ever is reading this, take care.

Hello,
Today is the last day of school so I have a little break before Summer School begins. I compled my Graduate Program through CU Boulder and earned MA's in Special Education and Second Language Learning. Looking at PhD. programs but will take at least a year off before take that leap.
Live is so good and I am very happy. Have a happy, safe summer.
