Diane's Story
My maiden name is Diane McDowell. I went to New Broad Rock grade school and Old Broad Rock Middle School. Went over to Manchester in the old building (Elkart Middle)now. Then was annexed to Meadowbrook for the 10th grade. I got married that year in the 10th grade, went back over to Manchester High(now Manchester Middle) and finished 11th and 12th grade. I have two sons, one born in May 1967 and the second born October 1969. They have given me two wonderful grandchildren. now resides with my husband and I. I have had him since he was a couple weeks turned three. Both grandchildren are my pride and joy. My husband and I are still married after all these years. My husband and I love to travel, bowl and just spend time together. I have only one sister, she is 8 years younger and finished school at Meadowbrook High. My father and mother were married for 63 years before I lost my dad to Alzhimers, two years ago on a good friday before Easter. I love my family and I have a dog and more than several cats. I love my God and his Son and my Country. I'm thankful to be an American.
