Diane's Story
Life
I married my soul mate in 1972 while we were both attending ASU. Jim had just gotten out of the Marine Corp and I had transferred from MCC where my last child, Erica is now attending. I have a son who is currently serving our country in Iraq and another son who is a teacher and has given me my first granddaughter.
I earned a Master's in Counseling in 1986 but continued to work as a school librarian, using my counseling skills whenever needed. YEA! I'm now retired and traveling throughout U.S. and abroad. Kathy Thomas Berne and I are still daily friends, however I'm jealous, as she has 4 X's as many grandchildren. I have met several other classmates at Celtic Festivals throughout the Southwest and we are all looking forward to a class reunion someday. I suppose it will take one of us to organize it. If anyone is interested let me know as I will help.
College
I earn my MA Ed in counseling in l986 and am currently using it in retirement as I volunteer for community service. However, I'm now retired and only substitute for friends in the local Junior and Senior High schools and junior colleges.
