Diane's Story
Life
A big Hello to those who read this.
Life has been an interesting trip. I left Michigan in 1977 and moved to God's country, Colorado. The majority of the time I lived in and around Colorado Springs, but for 5 years I was able to live my dream and I lived in the "high country" What a blast. You have to be a real mountain women/man to survive. I lived at 10,822' in a little town called Alma. It is by Breckenridge and other ski areas in Colorado. I worked as a Field Rep for a National Auditing firm (Me, wow, I couldn't count without fingers) auditing for Insurance Company's for Workers Comp and General Liability. The best part of the job was detailing, describing, photograping and CAD multi million dollar homes in areas such as Aspen. I would tell clients that I was a paid voyeur. What a great job!
I remarried in Sept 2004 to a professional Rugby Coach from Romania. We met 9 years ago on the Black Sea in Romania. I was there for my niece's wedding. ...Expand for more
I have never lost the wunderlust to travel to other countries and the desire for living overseas. Alas, the marriage didn't last.
I have one daughter and and 4 grandchildren. Meadow is 3 and the triplets are 7 months at this time. We now have 2 boys and 2 girls. They are the apple of my eye. Kate works as a full time mother. By profession, she is a stylist. All I can say is that I only allow her to cut my hair when she is not upset with me. After all, she is the one with the shears in her hand.
I have been placed into a forced retirement due to a car accident. I can at least say that the Deer died!!! as for me, that is a different story. I only lost my brain...haha. I am now a "bonafide dull" women. I am collecting my pension and Social Security Disability. My life is good, my humor is intact and you cannot sue a deer and I am learning to enjoy this forced retirement.
Please drop a line. There is no stranger when we were all friends at one time.
