Diane's Story
I started high school at Midland Secondary in 1970, then moved to Florida in 1972 where I was the Canadian kid who showed up near the end of 10th grade.I probably improved several people's math test scores by sharing my answers in Tony Chadwick's math class!
I ended up going to Broward Community College, in Davie, for a year or so, which was a lot of fun, although I didn't learn much. Spent more time hanging out around the piano with Bruce playing Classical Gas. Ahhh, the good old days!
I moved back to Midland, Ontario, Canada in 1976 and then out ...Expand for more
to the west coast in 1987. I now live in Langley, just outside of Vancouver, British Columbia with my husband.
My son lives in Vancouver, BC and is working towards his PhD in Bioinformatics at the University of British Columbia. My daughter lives and works in Victoria, BC where she recently received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Victoria.
Now that both children are independent, I'm preparing for my next adventure. On my next update, I'll be editing my "city" and, with any luck at all, the name will end with "Island". Stay tuned ;)
