Diane's Story
Hi from NJ,
I've been married to Lloyd since 1976 (we met at BGSU) we have 3 children, and we are now empty nesters. The kids all live in Colorado so we go there often.
Our son, Chris, just got married in Sept, and we are thrilled to bring Ashley into our family.
After college, I sold residential real estate and then became a full time mom and volunteered while the children were in school.
Currently I am Director of Therapy Dogs of Tenafly. I have a group of about 60 volunteers - we take our dogs in...Expand for more
to 7 nursing / rehab centers every month, and we also visit children who have been removed from their homes. I organize the visits and I also test the dogs and help teams become registered with Therapy Dogs, Inc. This has been my "job" for over 8 years - very rewarding.
We were in Warsaw in May at a memorial service for my mother, Opal, who passed away at age 92. ..so many fond memories...I have not been back to Ohio often because my mom moved to FL many years ago.
