My Spouse
He was my neighbor and hit me in the forehead with a snowball.
My Pets
We have three dogs and three cats. All are strays or adoptees from the animal shelter. Two of the dogs, both Australian Shepherd mixes, live outside. Our other dog is a rat terrior, Penny, who lives and reigns in the house (or at least she thinks she does). She travels with us and is the hit of wherever we take her. All three of the cats lives inside although one does go out on occasion - if the weather is just right. One of the cats is named Spike and looks and acts just like someone named Spike should act - except that he is little...Expand for more
bitty! On the other end of the scale if Smudge who weighs in at 17 pounds - and he's not fat, just big! We have a lot of fun with them!
My Kids
While they are my step-kids, we have a great relationship with them and their kids - although no one is allowed to call me Grandma!
My Job
I am a legal assistant for two partners in one of the largest law firms in central Missouri. We handle mainly insurance defense and plaintiff's cases. We have had several large verdicts in plaintiff's cases over the years, including one for $50 million against Wal-Mart in a sexual harassment case. It's fun, interesting and seldom boring.
