Diane's Story

Life Just retired from the Cleveland School District after teaching in it for 30 years. I enjoyed what I did for 25 years. The last 5 were sad. I see what use to be a wonderful place to get an education will cease to exist within the next 5 years. You can't fix the district because you can't fix the home lives of the kids. You can add all the new schools etc. but without family support there is nothing. I loved what I did for ...Expand for more
25 years, the last 5 were a struggle. The special education kids I worked with were great and I loved them, but being with them in inclusion classes was difficult. I am enjoying retirement. I work part time at the day care at NASA on Brookpark Road. I love the kids. I also set the Hallmark cards at Walgreens across from the old and now new Westgate Big Box. Nothing like retiring and working 2 jobs. It keeps me busy, but happy.
